If you’ve bought all of the fad Trader Joe’s spices like me - look no further for how to incorporate them into practicality outside of making a cutesie everything but the bagel cream cheese. Here I mix in the Trader Joe’s UMAMI Mushroom Co. powder to add depth to a bowl of veggies that I really wished had actual shroomies, but this magical powder satisfied.

I got love for my vegetarian / vegan fam, but sometimes there’s nothing better than perfectly oven cooked crispy bacon. I like to make a whole package and test out different dinner recipes by adding it in. Bacon adds a smokey umami flavored that’s pretty unparalleled, and it usually never detracts from a dish.

This is (almost) embarrassingly too easy to be considered a recipe, but sometimes the simplest ones deliver the most satisfying results.
