How food makes me feel.

I’m insanely passionate about everything as it relates to food. From the periods of experimentation in my kitchen, to the exploration of new restaurants, visiting new cities and countries to experience their culture, to intimate dinner parties, and cherished Sunday dinners with family.

I developed a penchant for food at a young age — I fondly remember cracking my grandma’s lobster claws for her and thinking it was the best gig at the table. Dining out meant a chance to expand my taste buds further, and my Mimi encouraged me to try new foods, regularly.

The kitchen is my space to create. It’s my departure from the real world. I rarely cook with a recipe in mind, but usually center my execution around a single ingredient. The rest all comes together based on what flavor profile I’m feeling.
